Plain-language terms for using CabinCam.
Acceptance of these terms
By downloading or using CabinCam, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply alongside Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs App Store purchases.
License
CabinCam grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the app except where the law permits it.
Recording laws are your responsibility
Dashcam, audio, and location recording are regulated differently in every country and region — including windshield-mounting rules, audio-consent requirements, and restrictions on recording people or property. You are solely responsible for using CabinCam in compliance with the laws that apply where you drive. CabinCam does not provide legal advice.
Safe use while driving
Do not interact with the app while driving. Set up recording before you start your trip and use a proper mount. You remain fully responsible for driving safely and complying with traffic laws; CabinCam is not a substitute for attentive driving.
Your content
Recordings you make with CabinCam belong to you and stay on your device. You are responsible for what you record and for anything you choose to share or export. CabinCam has no access to your recordings.
No warranty
CabinCam is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that recording will be uninterrupted or error-free, that footage will be captured, retained, or recoverable in every situation, or that the app will meet evidentiary or insurance requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CabinCam and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or footage, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Changes to the app or these terms
The app and these terms may change over time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
